As a native New Yorker, I developed my craft along the inroads of Harlem. Like many singers I started singing on a Church Choir, Where I attended with my parents, sisters and aunts. My early inspiration came from two aunts who sang and played piano.

I grew up listening to neighborhood groups, The Jesters and The School Boys, practicing in hallways. Like many teenagers I went to the Legendary Apollo Theater where I saw performances of Nancy Wilson, Pattie LaBelle,  Art Blakely, James Brown, Ray Charles, The Supremes and many other greats. After being  influence by such a variety of music I expanded my musical taste.

Besides singing I enjoy working with people, which led to the nursing profession. From high school I worked my way through college while singing  and studing music. I sang at various venues such as Bird Land, Red Eye Grill, Roosevelt Hotel, St Peter's Church, Yvonne's Restaurant in Pelham, Brooklyns' Montauk Club and Boro hall, to name a few.

Presently I'm performing in New York and working on my second CD with John Weiss, who coached me and worked on the production
of my debut Cd, "Sentimental for you".
